Lentil Spring Rolls

Back for more lentils and simplicity.  Everything chilled by the 42°F day.  Bundled up in spring rolls with black beans, bok choy, tomato, onion, cucumber, and carrot.

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery - World Wide Stout

Gobs of slickened plum and oleaginous grape charred aromas.  Raisin berry crisp with toasted cherry spice and a sweetened burnt booze finish.  The bottle sums it up.  18% (at least).

Gladiators would approve of the gratuitous barley usage.

Lentil and Halibut Sliders

Lentil patties made with wheat flower, carrot, cucumber, onion, cumin, black pepper, and garlic salt. Seared halibut bathed in beer-garlic-onion-butter sauce.  Each topped and bottomed with avocado, heirloom tomato, and a toasted bun.  Wrapped in lettuce, roasted bell pepper, cilantro, and soy sauce.

                   Lentils have changed and regulated my life.
